Developing Resilience

Independent Schools Victoria supports Member Schools through the Victorian Government’s Developing Resilience funding, ensuring that students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will allow them to establish and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The Developing Resilience Program incorporates funding from the Suicide Prevention Program.

Applications for Resilience Funding for 2017 are now open.

Schools wishing to access funding in 2017 must submit an online application based on the school’s notional grant. If you are unsure of the notional grant amount, please discuss with your Principal before starting the online application. All applications must focus on primary prevention and early intervention strategies rather than day-to-day crisis management.

The online application instructions for completing the application and the direct link to the online application can be found in the Downloads section below. The application can be made in a single session or saved and returned to at a later date. To save the application Click on the ‘Resume Later’ button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Enter a username and password – this will be automatically emailed to you. Please retain these details, as you can only re-enter the survey from that email, and Independent Schools Victoria has no record of the password you enter.

The funding criteria is based on the Victorian Government’s Framework for Student Support Services.

For further information about the application, contact Elspeth Adamson via email or on (03) 9825 7204.
