State Capital Funding
The Victorian Government Capital Funding Program for Non-Government Schools 2015-16 to 2018-19 aims to reach schools with the greatest needs, to assist in creating contemporary educational spaces that meet the teaching and learning needs of the school. Funding will be allocated across two project categories:
Category 1: Expanding capacity in schools located in areas of Victoria experiencing significant enrolment demand
Category 2: Upgrading facilities in existing schools according to need
Applications are now open and will close on Monday 16 January 2017.
Schools may only receive one grant over the life of the Program, and to be eligible, projects must have a construction period of 12 months or less.
Applications will be assessed by the Board of the Victorian Independent Schools Block Grant Authority. Schools are asked to note the specific assessment criteria associated with this Program (available below). Applications that best meet the assessment criteria will be prioritised for funding.
To apply for funding:
- Schools must complete Part A and Part B of the application, available below.
- The school’s architect or design consultant must complete Part C (Feasibility Report), guidelines available below.
- All parts of the application must be emailed to BGA.Mailbox@is.vic.edu.au before 5.00 pm on Monday 16 January 2017, along with four hard copies of Part C to be delivered to:VIS BGA
