Mr Michael Kleidon, Principal, Luther College
Michael Kleidon is the Principal of Luther College, an Independent, coeducational secondary school of the Lutheran Church of Australia in Melbourne with an enrolment of 1170 students.
Michael is enthusiastic and passionate about learning. Luther College offers an educational environment centred on Christianity, excellence is pursued across all areas, and relationships are valued. The College is committed to a culture of connecting all within the community, understanding that the development of strong relationships are precursors for effective learning and leading.
Michael’s career in education has been diverse, with opportunities to teach and lead in primary, secondary and tertiary learning communities across Australia. He has had experience with the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), Queensland Certificate of Education and the International Baccalaureate. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) Honours, a Graduate Certificate in Education and a Master of Education.
He is a member of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools Australia, a member of Australian College of Educators and an executive member of Lutheran Principal’s Australia.
