Glen McKeeman, Principal, Christian College Geelong
Glen McKeeman began his teaching career at Carey Baptist Grammar School in 1985, where he became a Head of House in the Junior School, before accepting a one-year contract position at The Geelong College in 1990.
His initial appointment at Christian College Geelong in 1991 to teach Year 7 began his 27 year association with the College, where he has been Principal since 2010.
Glen has held positions as the Foundation Head of the Bellarine Campus and Head of the Senior School before his appointment as Principal of Christian College Geelong.
Christian College Geelong is a multi-denominational college, operating across five campuses in Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Surf Coast, a Year 9 Rural Studies Farm ‘Back Creek’ in Scotsburn and a Senior School Arts Technology and Design Campus (Villa Paloma) in Waurn Ponds.
Glen is a member of AHISA and holds a position on the Victorian Branch Executive. He has participated in professional learning opportunities at Harvard University, United States of America, since 2015. Glen attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Future of Learning Conference and has been a member of the Independent Schools of Victoria (ISV) and Harvard University study partnership Leading the Learning That Matters, with other principals from Victoria.
Christian College Geelong has developed a fine reputation as a leading institution as a result of the learning initiatives and programs that have been introduced from this partnership with ISV and Harvard University.
