School Processes

Explore the following case studies of a range of very different schools and the projects they have undertaken APQC training through the Southern Cross Project.

Over 40 schools have become part of the Southern Cross Community since 2011, and have been trained in the Process and Performance Management (PPM) approach developed by the American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC), our partners in this Program.

The schools have been able to achieve improved student outcomes, generate cost savings and be more efficient and effective by focusing on and improving processes in their schools.

The case studies have been divided into three areas : School Processes, Student Engagement and School Expansion.

As one school Principal reports, ’The training shows you there’s always a different way to do things.’

Watch the Mt Eliza Primary School case study of their experience with the Southern Cross program and their project to redesign their meeting structures.
